A Way Of Remembering Music

The clash between math and music!

            I’m not good with instruments, I hardly even play them. But I learned about what are singing groups called by number back in 6th grade, which got me thinking yesterday, How can I remember them?” And it could also be a challenge for those who are new to music.

 

• Trio: A singing group of three.
• Quartet: A singing group of four.
• Quintet: A singing group of five.
• Sextet: A singing group of six.
• Septet: A singing group of seven.
• Octet: A singing group of eight.

Here’s my way of remembering them:

• Trio = Trillion
• Quartet = Quadrillion
• Quintet = Quintillion
• Sextet = Sextillion
• Septet = Septillion
• Octet = Octillion  

Post Question: Ever had a problem with school work, or just something you’re trying to memorize that you weren’t could but succeeded from a way of memorizing it? What was it, and what routine did you use to remember it?

Ryan Higa beats Fred In Subscribers

            I’ve waited for this day to come. I expected it to happen last week. But since the Teen Choice Awards, Fred’s been getting 5% of more subscribers that he’s been getting lately. But finally, Ryan Higa beat Fred in subscribers by 3,000 when I checked this morning. He’s got 5,000 subscribers in the last 12 hours. :O May this day redeem the names and belong to Asians! Lol jk. It’s not like I hate Fred. I’m subscribed to him and Ryan Higa. It’s Smosh who I hate.

            ShaneDawsonTV is a fast growing channel which is obviously gonna have a million subscribers by the end of the year. So maybe he’s gonna YouTube’s most popular and subscribed channel before Christmas. So it’s kinda hard to tell which is which. I am also working on a new video that is coming out on a few days. I’ll have it posted on here. But for now:

George Lopez Sitcom

            Some people who are a fan of George Lopez’s comedy might’ve saw his sitcom that ran a 6/7 year span from 2000 – 2007. Many people thought it was funny, I thought it was funny, too. After it’s contract was over off of ABC7 it moved to Nick @ Nite  for a few years. Obviously, I watch shows from Nickelodeon. It’s my main channel. There’s Dora The Explorer, Home Improvement, Spongebob, Go Diego Go, Olivia, Zoey101, iCarly, etc. I can go on forever. But seriously, George Lopez?

            The show is good, but it’s just too dramatic and crazy. Like you have this girl getting called a “whore,” then this long lost father and sister off of a family, a son doing dangerous stunts and hanging out with a trouble maker and this crazy drug addict lady who abuses her son for no reason. It’s more like Family Feud if you ask me. Just thinking about it kinda gets you wondering. Why would they put a famous comedian in a show like that? That would just make him look stupid and get his face pictured as a bozo.

            I don’t go against George Lopez or his show, but what I hate is how the creators make the show. You can already tell it wasn’t popular by it’s end at the sixth season. What really ticked me off is how one major problem comes to an end, when another one starts. It’s just like Inuyasha when this demon says he’s gonna kill everyone when he ends up dieing, escaping, playing tricks and setting baits for people to go in, and/or escaping and creating incarnations. Or kinda like Jimmy Neutron, boy genuis, with an IQ off the chart. WTF? Causing destructions, with his robot dog with a real tongue, Goddard.

Post question: What shows tick you off or somehow you just catch something funny going on with it? Is the show crazy, idiotic, dumb, however you call it?

Puberty Wrecks My Voice!

            Puberty wrecks my voice! Okay maybe this has happened to you or not. I’m fine with my voice changing and getting deeper as a grow older, but what I hate is my voice sometimes dies out when I talk or I just slip into a monotone. And sometimes when I sing, my voice dies out and just fades into a whisper. Like this time I sang a simple song on front of a couple of people, then that happened. Never again will I sing on front of the public to save embarrassment. I thought it was early morning voice I get after I wake up, then I thought I lost my voice.

            Another experience I got was when I ended up pronouncing my lower case “i’s” into capital “E’s.” Okay, it’s either my Asian voice I inherited from my family, or I’m just like that.

Kelly Clarkson’s Song State A Story?

            If you listen to the news or radio you would’ve heard Katy Perry has a new song. It’s called “Waking Up In Vegas.” Her new song is really popluar. I think there’s going to be a movie released on that. I have no idea when and where. But to be honest I’d say Hot n’ Cold was much better.

            Kelly Clarkson too released a new song called “I do not hook up.” She finally made it back on the charts after two years. But I kinda get the feeling that her songs tell a story. I don’t know if she rights her songs or gets someone to right it for her. Maybe her writers tell a story. It’s like, behind these hazel eyes, because of you, my life would such with out you. Now I do not hook up. My question for today, what kind of stories do you think she is telling in her songs?

A Mod Room On Chobots?

            If you play Chobots lately, you might’ve heard a rumor about people going into a mods HQ. True dat, but can they enter it by themselves? No, maybe a moderator started a party. So we already know that there’s an agents HQ that only agents can enter. The agent HQ is one of the most common and popular places to start parties. Of course you get blacklisted by a mod, as in, “it lowers your chances of becoming an agent.” Not “blocklisted,” but “blacklisted.” I still don’t get why they call it like that.

            Anyways, there really is a mod room in Chobots. If you were wondering where mods chill or get cool clothes they get it from there. It used to be called the Anime Room. Funny, I saw a picture of it over someone’s blog. It might’ve been enabled for the public to enter before it reached beta. I don’t really no much, because I was at the last 7 days of beta or something and I never heard about it before. It could be old, kept a secret, or new. Nobody knows. I won’t put a picture of it here, you’ll have to Google it, because it might copyrighted.

            Okay, so you know that moderators, agents, and citizens on Chobots get badges on my playercard. I don’t have a badge because I’m not any one of the three. But here’s my post question: Besides betas getting hats on Chobots, should they also have a badge for it? Yes or no, and why? Use your opinion, this is not a test.

Planet Cazmo

            Planet Cazmo, some of us play it, some of us don’t. Okay many people and if you know Zone from Chobots he plays almost all the games known to man, Club Penguin, Chobots, Webosaurs, Pandanda, Planet Cazmo, etc. well not all. I remember going to Planet Cazmo about a year ago, like maybe on January 2008 or somewhat in the early days of that month thanks to Gagernator. I was there in the beta days but forgot the beta hat and didn’t go much to that game anymore. I remember when there was less people. Even up to the fall of ‘08 there was less people. But when I came back on Winter last year it was funny how there was people. Then I left.

Adventure Quest Worlds!

            I kinda get the feeling virtual worlds or games start around September, October, somewhere around the fall. Okay, if you have been watching the news lately, well not news, but communicating with lots of people you would’ve heard a new game called Adventure Quest World. The main story (which is not possible in other games) is about someone called King Alteon who fights another dude for capturing his daughter. And eventually King Alteon’s opponent’s daughter goes against both of them and starts a new world of chaos. Well I don’t know about that story.

            But Sneevils start invading the land and it is everyone’s duty to stop them. If you are new, you will start off as a level 1. The levels to the game is unlimited. But each level you go to makes you stronger as in, your life points will increase when fighting someone. As in, it will take longer before you will die, lol. Sorry I said that. I meant in the game. But if you ever get wounded, you can rest your character to recover the wounds from it. And of course you think getting from one level to another is gonna be a piece of cake, well getting from level 1-2-4 is easy. But past it is not. So it’s like a big cake. For example, to finish level 5 you need to earn 12,000 points. It doesn’t mean 12,000 battles, you get at least 100 points when you battle someone. Not only that, but when you get to level 6 you need 18,000 points to finish the level.

             If you hear a rumor on there saying it takes 2 million battles just to get to level 20, believe it. P.S. Just randomly, most people in Pandanda come from Planet Cazmo and PengSpace and most people from Webosaurs come from Chobots. If you are wondering where those people come from it’s Mimo and Mimo comes from Club Penguin.

Green Business

            Well it’s August again, and it’s the last month of Summer vacation! I hate August to be honest. Well on July 23, while I was working up a design on the blog, which was really hard I decided to work on. When I was done, I made this. I call it, “Green Business,” not Greenday, but I named it like this because while I was making it, it kinda reminded me of a factory. It was gonna be blue, but I got tired of making my backgrounds blue, so I chose green since I knew it was one of my favorite colors. It’s been over a month since I made a background, I might use this on Nochia’s chat.

            The Rod vs. Clank story will be a page there until the fall, The Boy Who Cried Pengy will come back until September. Idk if Nochia, Pengy211, Spongedude22, or whoever blogs from her group will want to add it on a page over their blogs. Maybe some of you can add it on your blog to read till you go crazy. I’m not just doing this for you guys. It’s mostly for me. I gotta orginize the files I have in Microsoft Word. I will also add a temporary page, which is lasting till the Winter called, “My Designs and Art.” It will involve designs, backgrounds, and art that I’ve made since I made the Christmas edit. So there will be two new pages added; The Boy Who Cried Pengy and My Designs and Art. The Poetry and the Tips page will be dead. Eventually I will remove one of them because the Poetry page has been here over a year and the Tips page is no use anymore. The only active pages are either the Homepage, and the CP Story. I don’t plan to add anymore than 7 after this.
