Donate $7.5m To Wikipedia?

So if you visit Wikipedia that often, you’d probably see that it wants people donating again. And can you guess how much they want off people in the US? You guessed it! 7 million dollars! A couple of months ago, Wikipedia wanted us to donate $6m, to keep their site alive. Now it doesn’t tell. Are you really sure they need millions of dollars just to keep Wikipedia alive? Or do they just want money from people so that they can swim in a bathtub full of it?

As you can see, I have a photo of the Wikipedia logo, along with it’s slogan “The free encyclopedia.” Now define “free” since we have to donate. First of all, most of us people just go on that website to learn, research, or follow the curiousity of their heart’s content, not to pay just to view or read something simple. Second, give us a reason why do you want the money and what you’re gonna do with it, besides people and technology, such as “Who?” and “What type of technology?” You guys have no more than 35 employees running the company in the last 8 years, I don’t see why you need to much money just to continue. And third, dude, the economy is in a bad state. Try again in like… 100 years.

Post Question: Do you think Wikipedia’s new donation support is a bad idea?

Pandanda Fish Names Or Insults?

Ever since I first joined Pandanda and fished there, I’ve realized that some names of the fishes sound like insults. And out of the people who have fished there too, I’m surprised that only one person mentioned it to me. There were at least three or four fishes I saw with names of insults. I only managed to find two. One of them was the Big Mouth Bass.

Another one was the Fathead Minnow. It always reminds me of George Lopez being called a fathead on tv or someone on a cartoon yelling “fathead” at someone else.

Post Question: What do these fishes remind you of?

SquareSpace

I was surfing the web today on how to get a blog domain. Suddenly I crashed into a blogging website called SquareSpace. The site is pretty much new. It was created in February 2007. The site has confusing buttons and less orginized tools than WordPress. But if you want, you can import and export posts there. That’s right, you can post on SquareSpace and whatever you posted will show on that site, and also on your WordPress blog, without posting again. Or you can post on your WordPress blog, and it will automatically show on your SquareSpace blog, without reposting. It might even double the traffic you have at your blog now.

And for those who like Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Twitter, and all those other websites, social integration will be coming soon. So what are you waiting for? Join today at http://www.squarespace.com/! BTW I’m registed, check my SquareSpace at: http://milionare.squarespace.com/.

The Last Noel – Santa Claus

Santa’s wrath finally spills out into public by a music video.

Also my story called “Chariot Chames” is finally done after two months. You can check them out on the stories page. There are 3 parts to the story. Summary is on the stories page too. Read it. The story might blow you off. Also, give me a small review of what you thought about it in a comment.

Post Question: What’d you think about the video?

The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks

One of the newest games I found off a Chobots website is “The Travel of Wiglington and Wenks.” For those who likes school a lot, this might just be the game for you. Why? It teaches about history, inventions, and famous people. Not only that, but you can also customize your own island.

Not enough? Register now and buy 1 year membership for only $29.99! Wow, compared to Club Penguin that’s like how much six month of membership would cost.

Seem interesting? Register now at: http://www.wiglingtonandwenks.com/! The journey awaits!

Trick Or Re-Treat

Here’s a new video I made called Trick Or Re-Treat. It involves killing, and all that other stuff. So I’d rate it TV-PG-V for violence. You’ll think it should be rated higher than this, but this is merely fantasy. And why do I tell you about it’s ratings? Obviously nobody is gonna follow them. Just watch the video. Some may find it cruel and some may find it humorous. Well, idc. :)

Chobots is also having a Halloween party. Don’t forget to check that out on the Chobots blog: http://blog.chobots.com/

Post Question: What part did you like about the video?

Primary Games

One of my favorite websites is Primary Games. There’s a lot of great games. Also there’s lots of great activities to do such as; drawing, solving puzzles, widgets, postcards, and a lot of fun things to do. Especially now during Halloween, there are games like Ghost Hunt, that you might be interested in.

And if that’s not enough, feel free to register and play for anyone of their sponsored games. There are a lot of new/old games that might be much fun than the games you’re playing right now. For their blog on latest news or games, check out http://blog.primarygames.com/ or visit their main website by clicking here. Be sure to follow them on Twitter! :)

Post Question: Did you visit it, and what new games did you discover?

New Games

So many of you have tried a bunch of games you liked, even talked to many different people. But how would you like to play games made by kids like you? That’s right, kids just like you are creating games. Surfing the web from people who play Chobots, I found 3: Club Snowbear and Robotrons.

This one of course is Club Snowbear. The game is created by Polarbear (A.K.A Mimja.) Beta doesn’t start till another 8 months. By then, I’d be almost done with 7th grade. SB is abreviated for “snow” and “bear.” I sent in a couple of designs. For those creative people you can send in drawings, designs, or ideas for the game. Link: http://clubsnowbearblog.wordpress.com/ .

Another one I found was Robotrons. It was created by Officere and one of my best friends, Elite666. It’s going to be a new game, too. I don’t have the date of it’s accurate release, but I predict it’s coming out in 2010. Everything there is pretty much orginized. Link: http://blog-robotrons.tk/

Post Question: Do you know anymore games coming out on the future? Or, what do you think of the new games coming out?

P.S. The new story I was working on is called “Chariot Chames.” It’s almost 10 pages long on microsoft word. Tomorrow I will have it’s first 5 pages posted as “part 1/3″ on the Stories page and the summary will be released on the next post and on the Stories page too. I will have the whole story done by Halloween. Writer’s block?: Surprisingly none so far.

Halloween Parties

Halloween is just less than two weeks away. I’m surprised a lot of games are preparing for it. Club Penguin for example, if you go to the ice berg on any server of Club Penguin, by looking at the island, you’ll see grey clouds covering it. Mostly by going to the dojo, you’d see that one of the mountains below it erupted. Maybe that’s one of the virtual causes of the clouds. Hopefullying the dojo won’t fall down again like last year’s party.

Club Penguin isn’t the only one preparing for Halloween.
Tootsville and Pandanda are too. Tootsville (the one at the top,) has a funny way of preperation. Funny how they dress their elephants as the dracula and frankenstein. They have a lot of decorations put up. For Pandanda (bottom picture,) not that much. It’s just a bunch pumpkins decorated all over the game. Good news is that when beta ends, they’ll have a pet shop opening. Pretty much that’s all for now. Happy Early-Halloween!

Post Question: Any more other games preparing for Halloween? Are you preparing for Halloween? Have any Halloween designs or art you’d like to show? Submit them in the comments. They may be shown on the next post.

Advertizements

There are two things about advertizements that bug me; one on billboard signs and one on the internet. First off I’d like to start with billboard signs. There’s lots of bad advertizements on there lately. And what I found funny is that passing by one street it was advertizing tequila, “#1 selling in Mexico.” Half a mile later, there was a billboard sign telling kids to be safe (First5California of course.) WTF? You convince people to drink then tell them to be safe… I want one choice, not two. And another thing, a liquor store right next to a Church. It’s like you pray in a Church, then go next door to drink. Things these days just doesn’t make sense.

Now for internet: certain websites you visit. Whenever I visit one of those laggy websites, I get advertizements either opened in a new window or just in the same window (with audio) but I just can’t see where it’s coming from. Two experiences I can remember was going to an Inuyasha anime site, or going to MetroLyrics. I hear advertizements, but can’t see them.

Post Question: What’s your weirdest experience with advertizements? Irrelevantly, what’s your favorite music? Just asking…

Contest Winner: Bobonika1212! He won a one month membership and was sent in email a few days ago… hope no one will steal it like in the last contest.
